I’ve been working on a project to migrate a small business from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, and I thought I’d share some insights since I’ve seen a few threads here about similar transitions. Moving email, contacts, and calendars between platforms can be a headache, but I found a process that worked well for us.
Migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 ensured no data got lost, especially emails and folder structures, while keeping downtime minimal. After researching tools and manual methods, I ended up using the Shoviv G Suite to Office 365 Migration. It's a third-party solution that can handle multiple mailboxes smoothly.
The tool kept the folder hierarchy intact and even let you resume the task where it left off when our internet hiccupped.
Anyone trying to migrate the email from Google Workspace to Office 365 can test it with a small batch using the demo tool provided by Shoviv Software.
