I'm in the middle of a complete bathroom remodel and am in a pickle deciding on the material for the countertops. After much browsing and comparing, I'm seriously leaning towards White Quartz Countertops. I adore the clean, modern look they provide, and the fact that they can brighten up a room in an instant, particularly in a small bathroom like mine.
Based on what I've read up to now, White Quartz appears to be a good pick not just based on how it looks but also how functional it is. It's a non-porous material, which makes it stain-resistant and doesn't breed bacteria — a huge plus for a high-moisture zone like a bathroom. And the upkeep appears to be extremely easy, which is a plus since I don't want to take the time to seal or scrub countertops on a frequent basis.
All the same, I'm hoping to hear some first-hand experiences here at this forum. Have any of you installed White Quartz Countertops in your bathroom or even kitchen? How have they stood the test of time in terms of durability, color resilience, and overall wear and tear? I've heard a few conflicting opinions — some say that quartz can chip if not installed correctly, while others claim it lasts for decades without trouble.
I also found a supplier named Imperial Vanities that provides various White Quartz options. Their looks are elegant, and they say they provide good material, but I don't have many customer reviews yet. Has someone here ever used their product or worked with them before?
Finally, I'm also interested in design suggestions. Do I want a clear white quartz or one with some veining? I need something classic, yet distinctive.
