The CESR Pathway (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) is a route that allows doctors who haven’t completed a UK-approved specialty training programme (i.e., haven’t obtained a CCT – Certificate of Completion of Training) to still apply for inclusion on the GMC’s Specialist Register.
